LOCAL GOVERNMENT BOUNDARY COMMISSION FOR ENGLAND (LGBCE)

Proposed warding arrangements for unitary councils

The Local Government Boundary Commission for England (LGBCE) held briefing sessions for parish and town councils about an electoral review of wards for the two unitary councils on 11 June.

For councils that were unable to send representatives, a presentation is available here /DAPTC-Web/UserFiles/Files/Dorset_parishespresentation-NN.pdf

The presentation explains the process.

The Dorset Area Joint Committee and the Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole Joint Committee have submitted proposals to the LGBCE. The commission will consider them and publish its draft recommendations for consultation from 3 July to 27 August 2018.

The proposals that have been submitted by Dorset Area Joint Committee can be read the following link (please be prepared to scroll down the initial page)
