Living in the Community You Serve as a Clerk Survey

Town Clerk at Wivenhoe, Essex, asks for help completing Community Governance BA Hons Degree.

Jo is in the final year of her Community Governance BA Hons Degree and is writing her dissertation. The title of the disseration is ‘Living in the community you serve as a local council clerk in England: A study of the benefits and the challenges’, and aims to examine the benefits and challenges experienced by clerks who live in the communities in which they work and compare these to the experiences of clerks who live outside of their areas of employment. The research will focus on the prevalence of a blurring of boundaries between work and home life and establish if there is a need for guidance and support in the local council sector for clerks who face this experience.

Jo would like clerks who live where they work and those who don't to complete the survey which takes approximately 5 minutes to complete and is anonymous.
