Each week we send out to all member councils the weekly e-news which includes the following content:
- A 'heads up' in the introduction about what's currently of interest and any looming deadlines or key dates
- We provide quick reads on topics from our two unitary authorities members may find interesting
- We share updates on any key changes to legislation
- Share best practice from among our members, those across the South West and nationally
- We appeal for hints and tips amongst members looking to undertake projects in their communities
- There are links to articles from other bodies in Dorset connected with the parish and town council sector
- Highlight any achievements by members, their councillors and colleagues
- Share key messages from our national body NALC and other public sector bodies
- Job vacancies in the sector
We ask Clerks to share the e-news with all councillors or encourage them to subscribe direct so that it goes direct to their email accounts without the need for it to be re-directed.
