Mental Health Essentials
This e-learning course will increase awareness of mental health and provide techniques to support you and those around you.
At some point, everyone struggles or has challenges with their mental health – just like everyone has challenges with their physical wellbeing. In fact, one in four of us will experience a mental health problem this year. The course explores how mental health can vary, how to improve wellbeing and how to create a supportive work environment.

By the end of this course, you should be able to:
- Use the mental health continuum to assess your own wellbeing and communicate how you’re feeling
- Use the five steps to wellbeing and circle of influence to help improve your wellbeing
- Spot some of the signs of poor mental health in others
- Take steps to create a more supportive workplace environment
