This level of the framework is designed to support clerks new to the role by providing a solid foundation for success. It is also for experienced officers looking to refresh their knowledge and invest in personal development. You will build confidence and competence across key areas of council operations through a blended learning approach which includes courses, reading material and in-person events.

Whilst training is not mandatory, training courses and reading marked with an asterisk (*) are strongly recommended to help you build confidence and competence in your duties.
