This launch event is the first of a monthly series from the Dorset Council Climate Team for parish and town councils. Each webinar will share practical Dorset based information to support the climate work of local councils, covering topics such as climate change, local action, energy, transport, waste, nature recovery and other subjects as needed through the year. The sessions also offer a chance to hear the latest updates, learn about useful tools and funding, meet other councils and share your own priorities, challenges and local examples.
The first webinar will be an introduction to the series presented by Keziah Rookes, Climate Sector Support Officer, and an introduction to climate change presented by Carl Warom, Climate & Ecological Policy & Project Manager.
