All are invited to watch the competition as part of the Mayor of Blandford Forum's Civic Day.
Blandford Forum's Town Crier, Liz Rawlings, won the Dorset Criers' Competition and the Stanley Mansbridge Perpetual Trophy in 2024, hence Blandford Forum Town Council hosting this year. The event coincides with the Mayor's Civic Day.
Saturday 13 September 2025 - 10:45am - 12:30pm
- 10:45am - Come and hear the Blandford Ukulele Group play.
- 11:30am - The First Cry! Hear criers from across the county who will be judged by local judges on content/delivery, diction/clarity and best dressed.
- Civic procession of Dorset Mayors, Town Criers and Clerks through the town led by Piper, Lyndon Wall.
